Summary of Duties
The cloud/systems administrator performs and oversees all responsibilities related to training, maintenance, upgrade, installation, and configuration of corporate network, and personal computer hardware and software with an emphasis on cloud solutions, SaaS solutions and advanced server operating system features. Specific duties include implementing and maintaining cloud/SaaS solutions; maintaining company Office 365 tenant; implementing, maintaining, and updating SharePoint sites for the company; contributing to and maintaining system standards; maintaining operational, configuration, or other procedural documentation; performing regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions; and performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science/personal computer fields, OR Microsoft Certified Engineer (MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure) designation; A+, Net+, or Security+ certifications or equivalent experience preferred; proficient interpersonal relations, communications, analytical and problem-solving skills; thorough knowledge of personal computer architecture, hardware, software, and cloud-based or SaaS solutions; proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems; ability to train users on best practices and use of cloud-based or SaaS systems; proficient knowledge of MBG networking systems; capacity to work well independently; organizational and time management skills; minimum of four years’ experience supporting Windows desktop operating systems, PCs, and Microsoft server operating systems; and minimum of two years’ experience supporting Office 365, specifically Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
