Human Resources Office Assistant
Summary of Duties
The Human Resources Office Assistant provides administrative level support to the Human Resources Department and provides support to other areas in the organization including Maintenance, Operation Service and Accounting departments. Specific duties include provides administrative assistant-level support to the Human Resources Department; coordinates employee rental car program; oversees corporate paper, envelope, and office supply inventory; maintains and coordinates employee recognition program tied to years-of-service recognition; coordinates special employee events as needed; provides administrative support and assistance to the Maintenance Department as needed; provides support to Operation Service Department; provides support to Finance and Accounting; provides administrative assistance to the CEO and other executive management as requested; and performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.
Candidates must possess general equivalency or high school diploma; business school certificate/completion preferred; minimum of two years’ experience in related position(s); demonstrated ability in dealing with a variety of people; strong customer service orientation and an eye for detail; proficient written and verbal communication skills; proficient data entry ability; ability to work with and safeguard highly confidential information; exceptional computer skills including spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications; and experience with videoconferencing applications.
