Operation Service Representative
Summary of Duties
The Operation Service Representative supports the company’s customers by providing information and resolving producty and service issues. In addition, this position performs a variety of financial and nonfinancial tasks to help support other units within the company. This position is responsible for answering calls and emails from external and internal customers, responding efficiently and accurately to all customers, engaging in active listening with customers, greet and direct visitors, process incoming payments, process quotes, new business, manual renewals, cancellations, nonrenewals and reinstatement notices, reconcile processed work, review risk reports, maintain forms database, work with underwriting, vendors and Information Services Department.
Applicant must possess a general equivalency or high school diploma, associate degree preferred, strong customer service orientation and demonstrated ability in dealing with a variety of people, proficient interpersonal relations and communications skills (both written and verbal), moderat computer knowledge, demonstrated analytical, problem solving, organizationa and time management skills, moderate math skills, general knowledge of insurance and/or accounting, minimum of 2 years work experience in related position.
