Software Quality Assurance Analyst II or III
Summary of Duties
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst’s role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of project stakeholders. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements to convey to development teams throughout the software lifecycle. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will also apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the development process, and to ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT understanding of business requirements.
Applicants must possess general equivalency or Associates in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, etc; ability to establish and nurture positive working relationships with peers, management and business partners; proficient communications skills (both written and verbal); demonstrated ability to conceptualize, analyze, and resolve problems within required timeframes; demonstrated experience in setting schedules and meeting deadlines; demonstrated skill in at least one line of business; capacity to learn new technologies; demonstrated judgment and problem-solving abilities; organizational and time management skills; strong customer service orientation; an eye for detail; and successful completing of Insurance Institutes of America Intro course within one year of placement into position.
Specific requirements for each level are as follows:
Software Quality Assurance Analyst II
a. Minimum of 1 year of Position-related experience
b. Mastery of two verticals – Requirements Analysis, Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Property and Casualty Insurance
Software Quality Assurance Analyst III
a. Minimum of 2 years of Position-related experience
b. Mastery of three verticals – Requirements Analysis, Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Property and Casualty Insurance
