Premium Audit Technician

JOB SUMMARY

The Premium Audit Technician completes audits in a timely manner, while ensuring proper risk classification and accurate remuneration.  

SPECIFIC Duties include:
  • Maintains established quality and service standards
  • Processes self-audits
  • Processes endorsements
  • Communicates effectively with management, underwriters, technicians, claims personnel, vendors and insureds to secure necessary information
  • Performs PCRB and NCCI Statistical and Data Reporting
  • Gathers and maintains the Test audit information for the PCRB
  • Initiates orders for expiration and cancellation audits
  • Calculates the estimated voluntary audits that were not returned
  • Handles insured/agent inquiries and disputes regarding audits
  • Performs dividend responsibilities
  • Coordinates work with others in support of department objectives
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.
CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:

Education Requirements:

  • Applicants must possess a general equivalency or high school diploma

Skills / Competencies:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in related position(s)
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
  • Proficient interpersonal relations and communications skills (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated data entry ability
  • Moderate computer knowledge
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • General knowledge of insurance.
