HUNTINGDON, PA – Ebensburg Insurance Agency, with locations in Ebensburg and Bellwood, has been named a member of Mutual Benefit Group’s Inner Circle. It is one of 19 independent insurance agencies that qualified for the honor based on 2016 business results.

Mutual Benefit Group is a multiline property/casualty insurance company based in Huntingdon. It is represented by 250 independent agents in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Each year, the company presents its Inner Circle award to those agents who provide superior customer satisfaction while establishing a consistent record of profitable growth. This is the third time Ebensburg Insurance Agency has earned the honor.

Ebensburg offers property, casualty, life, and employee benefits coverage. Its 17-member staff has developed particular expertise in coverage for public schools, municipalities and contractors. Earning the CSRM certification just goes to show our younger colleagues that you must be a life-long learner in this business to be successful,” comments DeYulis.

DeYulis credits staff producer Carol Myers with driving his agency’s book of business with Mutual Benefit. Myers has been with Ebensburg Insurance Agency for 30 years. “One of the things I like about doing business with Mutual Benefit is that their cores values match ours,” says DeYulis. “You always win with great people, and those people are expected to do what is right. We share that philosophy with Mutual Benefit.”

Ebensburg Insurance  has been in business 57 years. Staff members have always been deeply involved in the communities in which they live, serving on the boards of area organizations, coaching local sports teams and sponsoring community events. DeYulis says he believes the agency’s secret to success is his employees’ desire to “help their clients navigate the very difficult insurance environment with the utmost professionalism.”
