Fast-Track Adjuster
JOB SUMMARY
The Fast-Track Adjuster investigates, evaluates, and resolves claims in an efficient and timely manner within an assigned authority level. Claims will typically involve HO, PP, BA, BU, AC, and CP policies as well as small bodily injury losses.
SPECIFIC Duties include:
- Provide telephone assistance to insureds, claimants, shops, appraisers, and attorneys to check coverage, explain the claims process, obtain needed information, coordinate rentals, respond to questions, and negotiate with claimants or legal representatives.
- Compile necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Unfair Claims Practices Act and Good Faith Claim Handling regulation.
- Process incoming bills, settle first- and third-party bodily injury claims within assigned authority limit, and adjust reserves.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed.
CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS:
- General equivalency or high school diploma
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with people
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient written and verbal communications skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient organizational skills to set schedules and meet deadlines
- General knowledge of insurance and medical terminology
- Moderate computer skills
- Minimum of six years' experience in directly related position(s)
