Brenda Nead retires after 35 years with Mutual Benefit Group

Brenda Nead of James Creek, Pennsylvania, retired from her position as Senior Workers’ Compensation Adjuster with Mutual Benefit Group on May 2, 2025 after 35 years of service.
Brenda joined the company in 1990 as a Claims Administrative Assistant and was promoted through the years to Claims Specialist, Claims Adjuster PIP/WC and then Senior Workers Compensation Adjuster.
A graduate of Central High School, Brenda completed an Associate Degree in Medical Administrative at Altoona School of Commerce
She is currently a member of the St. James Lutheran Church and is a past member of Huntingdon’s Women’s Club.
Brenda is looking forward to having more time for traveling, camping and spending time with her mom, family and friends.
“It’s bittersweet and exciting to move on to the next phase of my life,” Brenda said. “I'm grateful for the incredible experiences and growth I've had at MBG, and all the memories and friendships made here.
In regard to her tenure at MBG, Brenda said, “MBG's vision and strategic thinking have guided us through thick and thin over my 35 years. It was not always easy, but we survived only to become stronger in every respect both personally and professionally. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and wish MBG continued success.”
When asked for words of wisdom to leave for her coworkers, Brenda said, “Continue to seek out knowledge and skills to stay relevant and adaptable in the ever-changing work landscape. View the change as a chance to explore new avenues, challenge oneself, and continue to learn and grow. Be open to new possibilities and opportunities that may arise in the future.”
