Scott Ulrich Retires after 20 Years with Mutual Benefit Group

Scott Ulrich of Huntingdon retired from his position as Commercial Lines General Manager with Mutual Benefit Group on April 1st after 20 years of service.

Scott joined the company in 2004 as a Commercial Lines Underwriter. He was promoted through the years to positions of increasing responsibility and ultimately to the position of Commercial Lines General Manager in 2022.

Scott attended Susquehanna University and completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting. During his career at Mutual Benefit, he earned two insurance industry designations, the Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) in 2008 and the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) in 2012.

Scott has served his community by being on the Church Council at Saint James Lutheran Church, HCBI – Board of Directors, Huntingdon Rotary Club - Board of Directors, and Huntingdon Country Club – Treasurer and Board of Directors.

Scott and his wife, Gail, are the parents of a daughter, Wendy, and two sons, Andrew and Derek. He is looking forward to spending more time with his family during retirement, as well as traveling and playing golf.
