Dante L. DiOrio of Port Matilda been named Research and Development Assistant Vice President – Insurance Analytics. He is responsible for achieving long-term strategic initiatives related to the company’s insurance business; developing and enhancing new and existing products and pricing offerings; providing direction on the implementation of models or new processes; and providing better visibility of analytics through improved data and reporting capabilities.
Dante joined Mutual Benefit Group as Research and Product Development Manager in 2016.
A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dante majored in finance and minored in business logistics. Since joining Mutual Benefit Group, he has earned a graduate certificate from the Pennsylvania State University in business data analytics.
Dante has an extensive insurance career that spans more than 20 years and includes analytics, reporting, operations, product development, pricing, underwriting, project management, competitor analysis, process analysis, compliance and auditing.
He began his insurance career in 2000 when he joined Liberty Mutual Insurance Group. He advanced through Liberty’s Personal Markets division, having held underwriting, analyst, and management positions in Boston, Massachusetts, before joining OneBeacon Insurance, Canton, Massachusetts in 2006. There he held the positions of business consultant and state pricing manager. The following year he joined Hanover Insurance Group, Worcester, Mass., serving as product manager for the Personal Lines Product Management division, a position he held until joining Mutual Benefit Group.
