HUNTINGDON, PA – For the eighth year, Malagise & Associates, Beaver, has qualified for Mutual Benefit Group’s Inner Circle. It is one of just 19 independent insurance agencies that earned the honor based on 2017 business results.
Malagise & Associates offers all lines of insurance to customers in Beaver, Butler and Allegheny counties. The agency specializes in commercial insurance. The seven-member staff has developed particular expertise in providing coverage for restaurants, large housing organizations like condo associations, contractors, truckers and auto repair businesses.
The agency is led by principals Michael “Mickey” A. Malagise, president; Chris Malagise, vice president; and Lori Smith, secretary. Two members of the experienced staff recently celebrated 30-year anniversaries in the industry, while two others marked 25 years as insurance professionals.
“For me, the most rewarding thing about being in insurance is that we not only get to work with incredible people, they truly appreciate what we do for them,” comments Mickey Malagise, who has operated the agency for 35 years. “I’ve always believed that if you’re going to be successful, you need to go above and beyond normal expectations to differentiate yourself, and as an employer, you need to treat your employees with the same respect you want for yourself.”
Malagise and Associates supports a number of community activities, including the Beaver County Regatta, Bridgewater Pumpkin Fest, and Beaver County Boom, a July 4th fireworks event.
