Kevin Bamonte Named Assistant Vice President - Software Development

Kevin Bamonte joined Mutual Benefit Group as Assistant Vice President – Software Development on September 7, 2023.

In this position, he is responsible for providing overall management of the systems design, development, support, implementation, and programming functions, including supervision of assigned personnel and attainment of departmental goals and objectives.

He began his career in information technology as a programmer and web developer, gaining valuable experience at various companies in the Williamsport area. Eventually he established his own firm specializing in hardware, custom software, and website services.

Throughout his career, Kevin has collaborated with a diverse array of businesses across Pennsylvania. Notably, he played a pivotal role in assisting several insurance companies in the region with the crucial task of upgrading their core systems. Most recently he was contracted by Penn National Insurance in Harrisburg where he took the role of Senior Project Manager helping them to successfully implement their commercial line products on the Duck Creek platform.

Kevin holds several IT certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) and has just started studying for his CGEIT certification.

Kevin and his wife Shelley, have a daughter, Nicole who lives in Reading PA and a son, Joshua who recently moved to the Harrisburg area. In his spare time, Kevin is usually spending time with his family or is at the gym working out with his friends. Kevin is also a huge dog lover, and has Spikey who is almost 17 – but still all puppy!
