HUNTINGDON, PA – Mutual Benefit Group has been named one of the Top 100 Organizations by Pennsylvania Business Central, a business-to-business news publication serving a 22-county area in Pennsylvania.

Mutual Benefit Group is a regional property/casualty insurance company offering a full complement of both personal and commercial insurance coverages including auto, homeowners, commercial package plans and workers’ com­pensation through its member companies, Mutual Benefit Insurance Company and Select Risk In­surance Company. It employs 155 people, serves 70,000 policyholders in Pennsyl­vania and Maryland and markets its coverage through 300 independent insurance agencies.

In 2019, Mutual Benefit hit financial records, recording $128 million in written premiums and $119 million in policyholder surplus. Total assets grew to $265 million.
